Klundert Centre Development phase 2
The Municipality of Moerdijk intends to redesign the core shopping area and surrounding streets in phase 2 of the Klundert centre development project to increase attractiveness and safety. Following the completion of phase 1 (piers), the project has been expanded to include de Kaai, Brugstraat, a section of the Molenberglaan, and the Zevenbergsepoort up to the Walletje. The assignment concerns works in the field of urban infrastructure, public space, and road safety. The contractor must provide an integrated design and execution plan, taking into account resident input, environmental aspects, and the existing infrastructure. The works include, among other things, roadworks, paving, lighting installations, traffic signs, greenery, and any structural adjustments. The procurement is non-public, meaning selection takes place based on quality, price, and experience. The contracting authority expects a project that improves livability, stimulates economic activity, and increases safety.
