31170000: VenR Structures A44 (WNN)
Rijkswaterstaat Grote Projecten en Onderhoud is conducting a market consultation for the replacement of three outdated structure complexes on the A44. The objects to be replaced are the Kaagbruggen, Lisserweg, and the Hoofdvaartviaduct, built in the 1930s. The Kaagbruggen must not only be replaced, but the alignment must also be changed, making the Nieuwerkerkertocht – a culvert located behind the Kaagbruggen – part of the scope. The works require a combination of bridge and viaduct construction, road restoration, and ensuring traffic safety during construction. The procedure is a market consultation, through which the contracting authority aims to involve a wide range of potential bidders. The CPV code is not specified, but the assignment falls under civil engineering and infrastructure. The procurement requires a high level of technical expertise, experience with historical structures, and the ability to work within a complex traffic network.
