Bonaire Brandstof Terminals B.V. (BBT) has issued an open tender for a full EPC turnkey project to realize a modern fuel terminal on Bonaire. The objective is the safe storage and distribution of Jet A1, diesel, mogas, and IGO, including pipelines, loading stations, a vapor recovery unit, and a fire extinguishing system. The tender follows the FIDIC Silver EPC guidelines and requires full engineering (basic and detailed), procurement, construction, and commissioning. The scope includes 8 tanks of approximately 1,000 m³, an additive tank, slop and product recovery tanks, 4 pipelines from the jetty, an additional Jet A1 pipeline to the airport, two loading stations for diesel/mogas and an IGO loading station, construction and utilities, and a complete safety and environmental management solution. The contracting authority expects a reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy supply for the island community, with an emphasis on safety, regulation, and environmental friendliness.
