WPB Lith Activated Carbon Filtration and Extraction (AKW)
Brabant Water NV intends to expand its water production facility in Lith with a new anaerobic activated carbon filtration system and a complete renovation of the water extraction wells. The project will be executed as a traditional 2-phase construction team: first a construction team phase in which the contracting authority and construction partner jointly develop a preliminary, final, and technical design, specifications, and budget; followed by a UAV phase for execution. The construction team phase requires an open budget, continuous evaluation, and room for innovative, sustainable solutions. The total target budget is between €5 million and €10 million, including the construction and realization phases, excluding risk and unforeseen costs. The bidder must offer a market-conform weighted hourly rate and maintain control over scope and costs from the outset. The assignment focuses on the robustness, efficiency, and future-proofing of the water production facility.
