WPB Lith Activated Carbon Filtration and Extraction (AKW)
Brabant Water NV intends to expand its water production facility in Lith with a new anaerobic activated carbon filtration system and a renovation of the water extraction field. The project is executed as a traditional 2-phase construction team: first a construction team phase in which the design, specifications, and open budget are jointly developed, followed by a UAV phase for execution. The construction team must work within a target budget of €5–10 million, including all construction and commissioning costs, but excluding risk and unforeseen costs. Innovation in the areas of sustainability, material use, safety, and maintenance is explicitly required. The tender focuses on an equivalent collaboration, where the construction partner must offer a market-conform hourly rate and actively contribute to project management.
