Alliander currently has three locations in use in Alkmaar and the surrounding area. We aim to merge these locations into one new location to make collaboration even easier, to enable the task as a grid operator in the energy transition to be fulfilled more from a single team, and to maximally support staff retention. For this purpose, we have purchased a new location at Jan Ligthartstraat 1 in Alkmaar, which contains an existing office building that we wish to adapt and where new construction must take place for commercial space.
