01What is being requested
The tender has been launched to effectively execute large-scale renovation and construction projects within the UMCG from now on. This will allow them to balance multiple framework contractors, capture the learning effect, and build a long-term supplier relationship.
Large-scale projects are involved (renovation of nursing towers, renewal of OR complexes, reconfiguration of laboratory facilities) within the UMCG. To allow the large-scale projects to proceed, preparatory works must take place. Additionally, there are other projects arising from major maintenance and/or mutations. For this purpose, the UMCG will engage multiple framework contractors to ensure the learning effect is secured and a supplier relationship can be established. To simplify mutual communication, an overview of frequently occurring tasks will be included in the framework agreement.
