The tender includes a total storage stock and repeat orders over a period of 2 years, with optional extensions up to a total of 8 years.
On 15-07-2021, the Netherlands, together with Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, initiated the start of a European PFAS ban to restrict the use of PFAS and protect our environment and our health. The starting point is to ban all harmful PFAS substances, approximately 6,000 in total, simultaneously. Due to this, the contracting authority started a foam transition in 2020 and hopes to complete it in 2027. In 2023/2024, the contracting authority completed a tender process for phases 1 and 2 and, within the framework of the present tender, intends to conclude an agreement with one (1) supplier
