01What is being requested

The Dutch procurement (SBIR) invites entrepreneurs to develop innovative satellite-based services for the energy sector. The project is pilot-based and consists of two phases: phase 1 (feasibility study) and phase 2 (prototype demonstration up to a market-ready product).

The Netherlands Space Office (NSO) challenges entrepreneurs to develop, in collaboration with other entrepreneurs, new integrated and operational services based on satellite data that contribute to solving issues in the Energy market. The requested service development under this SBIR call is considered a pilot project. The best ideas will receive a contract for a feasibility study (SBIR phase 1). The best feasibility studies will receive a follow-up contract for operational pilot implementation, making it applicable, prototype demonstration up to market readiness (SBIR phase 2).
