In 2008, the Fully Automated Car Storage (VAB) Apeldoornselaan was commissioned. The underground VAB had space for parking 122 cars across two floors. The VAB is located in the Apeldoornselaan, in Den Haag; on top of the VAB is a tram track for tram lines 4 & 6, with both entrance buildings positioned on either side of the tram track. In 2022, the VAB was taken out of use due to susceptibility to malfunctions and safety concerns to perform major maintenance and renewal.
