01What is being requested

Supply of battery-powered rescue tool sets for fire engines, including training, education, and consumables. The assignment concerns a Framework Agreement with a maximum value of € 1,600,000 excl. VAT and a maximum duration of 7 years.

Within Veiligheidsregio Fryslân, battery-powered rescue tools have been in use since 2017. Each fire engine is equipped with this rescue equipment. The battery-powered rescue tools have replaced the hose-driven rescue tools to full satisfaction. The rescue tool sets are replaced simultaneously with a fire engine. The current Agreement has come to an end. In order to provide the new fire engine with new battery-powered rescue tools, the Contracting Authority intends to enter into a new Framework Agreement with one Contractor.
