Realization and Delivery of Möbius2 Modules DSM and ASM
This tender from TNO concerns the realization and delivery of the Möbius2 modules DSM and ASM, aimed at improving the quality of mechanically recycled plastic and the efficiency of chemical recycling. TNO’s Circular Plastics programme aims to increase recycling potential and reduce dependence on fossil raw materials through the Möbius technology. The assignment is an award procedure without publication, in which one contractor will be selected to develop, test, and deliver the modules. The contractor must have experience with chemical recycling, modular design, and the production of high-tech components, and be capable of delivering within the specified time and budget. The collaboration requires close coordination with TNO’s R&D teams and compliance with strict quality and safety standards. The chosen partner will provide a complete solution, including engineering, manufacturing, and aftercare.

Plastic circularity is promising with regard to reducing dependence on fossil raw materials and thereby geopolitics. Therefore, TNO has established a Circular Plastics programme. To exploit the recycling potential, a higher quality of mechanically recycled plastic is required, as well as increased efficiency of chemical recycling. One of the promising technologies to upgrade plastics is depolymerization. TNO-SPES is working on this technology under the name Möbius. The goal of the conducted negotiated procedure was to select one (1) contractor for the Realization and Delivery of Möbius2 Module
