The works take place within plots 1 and 17 in the raised bog area. The total area of these two plots is approximately 320 hectares. The woody scrub present in various densities in the plots must be cleared or cut back to ground level and below water level. In part of the plots, scrub may be cleared using an amphibious crane or similar (maximum ground pressure 0.127 kg/cm2).
