The works include, among other things, mechanical, electrical, and process-related installations for an area of approximately 1,200 m2 cleanroom, 1,230 m2 laboratories, 580 m2 offices, and 700 m2 support. After completion, maintenance will take place on the basis of a result contract.
The new cleanroom building will be a building primarily consisting of laboratories and technical rooms. There is a major emphasis on the proper technical and logistical functioning of the cleanroom and, in that regard, the technical and specialist component of the building. The contractor must install the building-related installations, process installations, and cleanroom fit-out for the new cleanroom building of the TU/e.
