The Municipality of Het Hogeland has issued a (public) service procurement for Social Support for Status Holders – a program focused on the integration and self-reliance of status holders in accordance with the Wet Inburgering 2021.

Since 1 January 2022, the Wet inburgering 2021 has been in effect. Based on this law, municipalities hold the coordinating role in the implementation of integration policy. They are responsible for organizing a suitable integration offering and providing support to integration applicants. It is the goal of this offering that integration applicants not only meet their legal obligations, such as passing the integration exam, but can also participate sustainably in Dutch society.
