The Stichting Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (hereinafter ‘HAN’) makes annual use of flexible labor for the deployment of educational support staff, members of the professional committee, working students, invigilators, guest lecturers, and simulants who perform irregular, incidental, and short-term activities. The number of persons to be deployed (more than 1,200) as well as the number of deployment contracts (averaging 2 to 3 per person per year) and the number of deployable hours (varying strongly from 1 to 150 hours per person per year) are highly variable.
