Delivery of a Live cell super-resolution microscope based on pixel reassignment technology. The assignment concerns an agreement of 10 years with optional extensions.
For the work on structures that are important for signal transduction in health and disease, there is an increasing need for resolution in time and space. Limitations in optical properties mean that achieving sufficient resolution is becoming increasingly difficult. In living specimens, this is further complicated by the fact that the amount of signal is limited and cannot be amplified without additional noise. To study the dynamics of proteins and structures in living specimens, a system is needed that achieves high resolution with the minimum amount of light. The system must meet two require
