01What is being requested
Realization of an embankment reinforcement and the reconstruction of a cycle path, consisting of the removal of 1,600 meters of revetment, the installation of steel sheet piles, and earthworks.
Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden will address the dike and the revetments along the Hollandse Kade. As a water board, we are responsible for the maintenance and management of the dike with the revetment. We are collaborating in this with the Municipality of Nieuwkoop, which is responsible for the maintenance of the adjacent cycle path. The section where we are working runs from the junction of the Milandweg and the Hollandsekade to the end of the cycle path at Hollandsekade 23. It is intended that HDSR organizes an oral (1-on-1) market consultation in preparation for a procurement for
