The town hall on the Markt in Gouda is one of the most iconic buildings in the city and a cultural-historical monument in the Netherlands. The ambition of the municipality is to give the town hall a stronger social significance and strengthen the connection with the city. The monument now requires a major approach: repurposing and making the town hall more sustainable, including the restoration and improvement of accessibility.
