Meter Replacement Recognition Scheme

Alliander N.V. is launching a non-public procedure for a recognition scheme focused on works related to meter replacement, including indoor remediation. The scheme is intended to ensure a uniform quality standard for meter replacements in the electricity grid. Suppliers must demonstrate that they possess the necessary technical expertise, safety certifications, and experience with meter installations and indoor renovations. The procedure requires detailed project planning, compliance with Dutch safety and environmental legislation, and the provision of full documentation of performed works. The recognition scheme offers a standardized assessment framework, providing small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) an opportunity to profile themselves within a regulated market. The procedure is non-public, meaning only selected parties will be invited to submit a tender. The focus lies on quality, safety, and cost control, with an emphasis on minimizing disruptions for end users.
