It is the joint ambition of the provinces of Zuid-Holland, Zeeland, the municipalities of Goeree-Overflakkee and Schouwen-Duiveland and the State to transform the N59 into a safe, sustainable and well-functioning road, which is important for the economic development of Goeree-Overflakkee and Zeeland. The total intended package of measures is shown in the document ‘Integraal Adaptief Uitvoeringsplan N59 Energy Highway’ (October 2019, Projectgroep N59).
