01What is being requested
The assignment concerns the checking of translations of medical/pharmaceutical-oriented product information of medicinal products. The activities are carried out under a Framework Agreement with a duration of 36 months, with an option for extension of a maximum of 12 months.
The Assignment includes the checking of medical/pharmaceutical-oriented Dutch translations. The original text (English) is approved in the medicinal product registration procedure. Before the medicinal product may be placed on the market, the English text is translated into Dutch by the producer (company). It is the legal task of the Contracting Authority to check this Dutch text, translated by the producer, for accuracy and comprehensibility.
