01What is being requested

Organizing access to Dutch healthcare for foreign insured persons during a contract period of four years (with an option for a maximum of four extensions of up to twelve months each). The assignment includes, among other things, offering a nature-based package (in-kind), registration of beneficiaries, reimbursement of Zvw and Wlz healthcare costs, and data exchange via the EESSI system.

The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (Health Insurance directorate) is looking for one health insurer to perform the function of the institution of residence, in order to prevent foreign insurance institutions from having to deal with varying insurance packages and costs for their insured persons living in the Netherlands.
