Exploration of the causes and consequences of the asphalt quality and the service life of asphalt layers to jointly establish solution directions.
The quality of asphalt is high on the agenda of Rijkswaterstaat (RWS). Therefore, Rijkswaterstaat has initiated an internal improvement process. Rijkswaterstaat attaches great value to cooperation with its market parties and is aware that for effective improvements, the market is an indispensable link. Therefore, RWS would like to examine together with the market how we can collectively increase the quality of our asphalt and thereby extend the service life of our asphalt. The meeting “Asphalt Special” on February 10, 2025, aims to further explore the causes and consequences of these issues
