Since 2005, the RIVM Meetnet Ammoniak in Natuurgebieden (MAN) has been measuring monthly average air concentrations of ammonia in Natura-2000 areas. The Province of Noord-Brabant wishes to continue the additional ammonia measurements (concerning 37 (or 39) monitoring points in 16 nature reserves) within the MAN for the period 2026 through 2030 to monitor the developments of ammonia concentrations in nature reserves over a longer period, with the option to extend the agreement twice by five years each.
