It is a rural area, with an urban twist along the Maas, around the centers of Boxmeer, Cuijk, and Grave. With over 90,000 inhabitants and an area of 352 km2, the new municipality has become an attractive and robust partner for cooperation in the region and the province of Noord Brabant.
